LIGHT THE BLOCK
Welcome to LIGHT THE BLOCK!
When: January 4th- February 4th, 2026
We’re so glad you’re here! We are coming together as a church family to live out the heart of Jesus — to love others by serving others! Based on Matthew 5:14–16, this outreach reminds us that we are the light of the world, called to shine brightly so that others may see God’s goodness and give Him glory.
As we serve, pray, and share the gospel in our small group areas durning the month of January, let’s remember our mission and vision: to REACH, REVIVE, UNITE like eternity depends on it & to BE THE LIGHT so no one is left in the dark.
Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every word of hope carries the light of JESUS CHRIST into our community.
Let’s shine together for his glory and for the good of Jacksboro!

WEEK 1 - Prayer Walking & Door hangers - (Jan 4-10)
This week you will pray over houses, families, and people on your blocks. You will also put out door hangers at every house that you can .
WEEK 2 - Knocking on door - (January 11- 17)
This week you will pray for families, share the good news of the Gospel, and ask of any need your small group can meet during Week 3 (impact week).
WEEK 3 - Impact week - (January 18- 24)
This week you will help the families you talked with durning week 2. Help any way your small group can... this our serving week. We are a church that "loves others by serving others"!
WEEK 4 - Invitation hand out - (January 25- 31)
This week you will hand out invites to our "TLC Block Party" on Feb 4th... invite and love on people!
WEEK 5 - Block party at THE LIGHT CHURCH @ 6PM - (February 4th)
This week is party time... small groups bring your favorite cold weather meals for people to enjoy. The church will be providing hot chocolate and coffee!
